Refund Policy

Introduction

Hibreed Station makes every effort to ensure that the information provided to applicants about courses of study on their website is complete. However, Hibreed Station reserves the exclusive right, at its discretion, and for any reason deemed fitting or necessary, to make changes or cancellations, without prior notice, for the courses mentioned herein. This exclusive right extends to the cancellation and refund policy.

This policy governs how refund activities or requests are handled by Hibreed Station.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

The Hibreed Station course fee comprises of refundable and non-refundable components. A breakdown of the fee is given below:

  • Ancillary (Admin) fee = 20% of course fee

  • Tuition fee = 80% of course fee

 

N.B: Scholarship offerings apply only to Tuition fee and DOES NOT apply to the Ancillary (admin) fees unless otherwise stated.

  1. The Ancillary* fee is the NON-REFUNDABLE components.

  2. Tuition fee forms the refundable to which refund conditions apply.

  3. Request for refund must be completed within 5 days before the course start date.

  4. Partial payment of course fee is non-refundable after first (1st) class of the course.

  5. A student is entitled to a full or partial refund of tuition fees if a course is cancelled by the school.

  6. Refunds when due, can be made without a request from a student. The refund should be made within 10 working days of the student’s withdrawal date.

  7. The Application for a refund must be completed and approved for all eligible refunds.

  8. Students withdrawn for disciplinary reasons under the Hibreed Code of Conduct are not entitled to refund for both tuition and admin fees.

  9. In cases of unusual or extraordinary circumstances (such as illness, death in the family, etc.) that prevent a student from attending class, Hibreed Station may honour a request for a full or partial refund of fees.

  10. When a students’ fees are subsidized by an agency and the student withdraws, the agency can submit a written request for a refund only if the student’s hours of attendance are less than 50% of the initial class scheduled hours.

*Ancillary Fees are used to support the education of its students during the program. It caters for support, student affairs services, and platforms maintenance functions.
